YOUNG ADULT TRANSITIONAL PROGRAM

find purpose.

SEEK DIRECTION.

Client Profile

We work with individuals—not defined by their backgrounds, diagnoses, or labels. Our focus is on young adults, typically ages 18 to 25, who are looking for a space to figure out their next steps in life.

Many of our student-clients may have tried college and found it wasn’t the right fit, or they may be taking a gap between high school and college. Some come from previous therapeutic settings and need thoughtful aftercare.

We welcome neurodivergent young adults, including those with autism, ADHD, or other unique ways of processing the world. At Gemba, we see people as individuals—each with their own timeline, strengths, and path forward. Most simply want to slow things down and take intentional time to discover what’s next.

Learning
Differences

The team at Gemba Boise provides world-class support and skill development for students with learning differences. Our students are typically quite capable of learning but struggle with executive functioning. We also are capable of supporting learning challenges including dyslexia, dyscalcula, dysgraphia executive dysfunction, non verbal learning disorder, and slow processing speed.

Mental
Health

We are passionate about supporting young people who have struggled with challenges related to mental health. While a specific diagnosis is not required, we do frequently work with people with ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Technology Addiction, and High Functioning Autism.
